Who we are
Versify ("Versify," "we," "us") designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for businesses. We are based in Florida, United States. This policy covers versify.agency and the services we provide to clients. You can reach us at hello@versify.agency.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, business name (optional), the plan you're interested in, your message, and which page of our site you sent it from. We also receive anything you include in emails to us.
Information from clients. When you become a client, we collect what we need to build and run your website, such as your business details, logo, photos, written content, billing contact information, and access to accounts you choose to share with us (for example, your domain or Google Business Profile).
Information collected automatically. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records page views, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your country. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, also processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver our site and protect it from attacks.
Information we handle for Versify Systems clients. If you use Versify Systems, we store your customers' contact details and the messages, bookings, and payment records they exchange with your business, so we can run your system for you. We handle that information only on your behalf.
Payment information. Payments are handled by PayPal. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Reply to your questions and prepare quotes
- Design, build, launch, host, and maintain your website
- Send invoices and process payments
- Communicate with you about your project and account
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
- Keep our site, services, and accounts secure
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We don't send marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Content loaded from other services
When you visit our website, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and code from jsDelivr and cdnjs. As with any website request, these providers receive your IP address and browser information in order to deliver those files. Their use of that information is covered by their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry messages for up to 2 years if they don't lead to a working relationship. We keep client records for as long as we work together and afterward as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, generally up to 7 years for billing records. Visitor statistics are stored only in aggregate form.
How we protect information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-step verification on our business accounts, a password manager for credentials, and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a copy of your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email us at hello@versify.agency. We'll respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. Depending on where you live, such as the EU, the UK, or certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights, and we will honor them where they apply.
Websites and systems we run for clients
For websites we build and host for clients, and for Versify Systems we run for them, each client is responsible for the privacy policy on their own website and for the information their customers and visitors provide. We process that information only on the client's behalf, to host and maintain their site and run their system.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and if we make significant changes, we'll let clients know directly.
